Camping at We Fest Detroit Lakes MN

By wildwoodscott

Hey We Fest lovers. My name is Scott and I'm in the RV business at Lee's Country RV in Batesville Indiana. I was actually born in Detroit Lakes and still have relatives in the area.  Many have attended We Fest and have some great stories. I've always wanted to camp at the festival, but for one reason, or another haven't made it up there yet.

Looks like a great line-up for the show this year.  Any of you other guys looking forward to seeing Taylor Swift and Kellie Pickler?  I know my better half is looking forward to Tim McGraw. She always tells me that I look like Tim except with a bigger belly and without the money.  After some thought she says, "actually you look like Larry the Cable Guy."  I guess it depends on how much I weigh at the time.  Tim in the summer, Larry in the Winter.

Does anyone have any tips as far as which campsite is better? I know they're different, but I'm not sure what the advantages and disadvantages are for each. We definetly like to have a good time and sometimes without much sleep. My girlfriend tends to get lost at big events and often wakes up in other peoples campers, hotel rooms, etc. She's harmless, however, very friendly and smokin' hot. Hopefully she still loves me when the Fest rolls around.

If you're at the We Fest next year, keep your eyes open for a Wildwood fifth wheel or a black Mastercraft X-30. Please come over and share a cocktail and some stories. If you mention the phrase "Bikini's and Beer", its on us.
